Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, has given fans a rare glimpse into the Carter family ahead of Mother's Day weekend.
During the Kentucky Derby, Knowles spoke with E! News and shared about her grandchildren — Beyoncé and Jay-Z's twins, Sir and Rumi Carter.
Knowles described the 6-year-old twins' adorable lifestyle saying, "Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator."
She added, "How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion."
As far as Rumi's twin brother, Knowles says he's "very quiet and very, very smart,” adding that he's good with numbers.

The young Carters have certainly been in the limelight more lately. Recently, Rumi made history as the youngest female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking her older sister Blue Ivy's record.
This feat was made possible thanks to Beyoncé's song "Protector" from her latest album, which debuted at No. 42 on the streaming, airplay and sales-based chart.
Blue Ivy, who will join her mom in Disney's new "Lion King" prequel titled "Mufasa," still holds the title as the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart due to her feature on her dad Jay-Z's 2012 song "Glory."
Knowles also took time to celebrate the release of her daughter's highly acclaimed album "Cowboy Carter." She told the outlet, "Beyoncé has done country before," adding, “We’re from Texas. We’ve been part of that culture for a long time."
She added, “It’s a nice history lesson. ... She has this way of doing things subtly but educating. I’m really proud of that.”
And Beyoncé's "Act II" has definitely been successful with the superstar quickly breaking records and making history.
It certainly seems that Beyoncé and Jay-Z's children are well-equipped to follow in their parents' footsteps.
